Warranty Policy

Two layers of cover

Everything Honolulu Sports sells is genuine stock from the brands and their authorised distributors — never grey-market or parallel-imported. That matters for warranty, because a paddle bought through an unofficial channel cannot be claimed against the brand at all.

Your cover is:

• the manufacturer's own warranty against production faults, and
• our store warranty, which we handle for you directly so you are not chasing a factory overseas.

How long

• Standard items: 90 days from the date of purchase
• Selected premium models: up to 120 days
• Items bought at 25% off or more: 30 days, or excluded entirely where stated on the product page

What counts as a defect

• Core crush: the paddle face compresses or crunches under normal play
• The edge guard separating from the paddle where it was bonded at the factory
• Faults in how the handle or grip was built
• Delamination of the face from the core

This is a warranty against manufacturing faults. It is not a guarantee that a paddle will last a given number of games.

What is not covered

• The soft creaking sound a honeycomb core makes when squeezed at the edge — this is normal
• Normal wear: surface texture wearing smooth, grips wearing out, scuffs and scratches
• Impact damage: hitting the ground, the post, a wall, or another paddle
• Damage from storage — leaving a paddle in a hot car is the usual cause
• Any paddle that has been modified, re-gripped with adhesives, drilled or weighted in a way that alters its structure
• Paddles bought second-hand, and paddles received as prizes or giveaways

How to claim

Start a warranty claim from your account. Please have ready:

• what went wrong and when you first noticed it
• clear photographs, and a short video if the fault makes a sound
• your order number or receipt

What happens next

We inspect the paddle, and send it to the brand where the brand needs to decide. If the claim is approved we replace the paddle from current stock. If that model is no longer available we issue store credit, valid for 30 days, to the value of the paddle.

Conditions

• One replacement per original purchase
• The warranty covers the original buyer and is not transferable
• Proof of purchase from Honolulu Sports is required
